Hi everyone, welcome to my blog! Here I'll be writing about my experiences with mental health, fitness and food. I hope to reach out to a large audience and inspire, advise and motivate people on staying healthy and living life to the fullest.
Mental health
I've experienced mental health issues since I was a young teen, and I hope to connect with people who are facing similar issues. In the past I have suffered with an eating disorder, depression and anxiety, and with these experiences I wish to deliver hope, love and life experiences and lessons I've learnt along my journey.
Fitness
It was the early start to 2018 that I started running. After my long shift at work, I would walk home and get my gym wear on and go for a run. It released a lot of tension and stress, and this is the same time I quit smoking, so it was a replacement of picking up a cigarette. As the weeks went by, I found it easier to run further and quicker. I then got into meditation and yoga, and from there I was interested in building my physique and strength to enable me to perform yoga poses. Now I'm balancing my cardio exercises with my muscle building exercises, to become stronger, healthy and fit. I'm learning everyday and I hope to share my workout routines with you.
Food
I have recently started preparing my meals, and changing what I consume. I want to eat well as I've learnt this makes a big difference to how you feel emotionally and physically. It's important to eat the right foods to give you energy and I realised my diet is a big part to my health. I hope to share my cookery with you and write about which and how certain foods can change how you feel and change your body.
